AI Training

Practical AI Training for UK Teams

Practical, instructor-led sessions for the work your team already does. Build shared rules for everyday AI use, examine one named workflow, or prepare the people who will supervise a bounded AI agent.

Sessions are adapted to the organisation’s work, information boundaries and human review requirements.

Training sits alongside Karnelo AI Workflow Discovery and does not include an AI build.

At a glance

AI Training at a glance

Who it is for

Owners, managers, process leads, reviewers and people responsible for AI-assisted work.

Format

Instructor-led and remote by default. One team, one workflow or one group of agent supervisors.

What makes it different

Training is built around the organisation’s actual work, evidence, permissions, review points and operating limits rather than a generic tour of AI tools.

What you leave with

Practical working artefacts and agreed rules that the team can continue using after the session.

What happens next

Nothing has to follow. If the work exposes a workflow that needs a formal pilot, pause or stop decision, Karnelo AI Workflow Discovery may be the next step.

Alongside discovery

Where training sits alongside Discovery

Karnelo AI Workflow Discovery examines one UK service workflow and produces a decision pack. AI Training is a separate offer and can be bought on its own.

Three training options

Choose the training that matches the work in front of you.

AI Foundations

Approved everyday AI use inside your organisation.

What we cover

  • Where AI can and cannot help
  • Information that must not be entered into public AI tools
  • Prompting as instruction, context and evidence rather than prompt tricks
  • Checking AI-generated work
  • When a person must review or take over
  • Shared team rules

What you leave with

  • Approved AI Use Checklist
  • Prompt and Context Guide
  • AI Output Review Checklist
  • Agreed next actions for the team

Typical format90 minutes to half a day.

Workflow AI Training

Examine one named workflow together.

What we cover

  • What happens today, and the people and responsibilities involved
  • Where AI might assist, and the evidence required
  • Draft, check and approve points
  • Exceptions, escalation and human decisions
  • Measures such as time, quality, rework and override rate

What you leave with

  • One-page workflow map
  • AI assistance points
  • Human review points
  • Exception and escalation rules
  • Simple measurement sheet

Typical formatHalf-day workshop focused on one workflow.

Where several teams or workflows are involved, a bespoke team programme can be scoped.

Human review is designed into the work

Make boundaries visible before the workflow runs.

Practical AI needs more than a capable model. It needs clear information, permissions, review points and a safe route for exceptions.

01

Source evidence

Keep approved information and supporting sources connected to the work.

02

Permissions

Define which information and tools can be used, by whom and for what purpose.

03

Exceptions

Route uncertain, incomplete or unusual cases to an accountable person.

04

Stop conditions

Know when the system should pause, hand over or not proceed.

Examples

Example types of work

  • A team using generative AI to research and draft documents that a named person must still check before the work leaves
  • An application or casework process where evidence must be checked before work proceeds
  • A service team reviewing AI-generated drafts
  • People supervising a bounded agent that prepares work for approval

Delivery

Who delivers the training

Karnelo AI Training sessions are delivered by Ranj Rana, an AI delivery practitioner working across practical AI adoption, workflow design, governance and AI agent supervision.

Sessions are designed around the client’s actual work rather than a fixed tool demonstration.

Limits

What training does not do

AI Training does not:

  • build or deploy an AI agent or automation
  • certify or accredit participants
  • transfer responsibility away from the client’s named owners
  • replace AI Workflow Discovery where a formal workflow decision is required

Duration

Typical format

Sessions are instructor-led and remote by default. Length is sized to the team and the work.

AI Foundations
90 minutes to half a day
Workflow AI Training
Half-day workshop focused on one workflow
AI Agent Supervisor Training
Half-day or two focused sessions, depending on the agent and number of reviewers
